Women's Cross Country Team

Women's Cross CountryThe Women won the 2010 National Cross Country Championship. Savannah Boucher and Cassie White were 1st Team All-Americans. Michelle Page, Nicole Hughes and Shelby Knapp were 2nd Team All-Americans. Rounding out the team are Shelby Fiorini and Mary Dilley. The Team scored a record low of 22 points in winning MVCC's 10th Cross Country Title.

She was the National Champion in the 10,000m, 5,000m and runner-up in the steeple chase making her a 3 time All-American. Miss Hoffman, a sophomore Liberal Arts major, was named as the Female Athlete of the Meet. The Rome Free Academy graduate finished her MVCC career with a total of 4 individual National Titles and was a 7-time All-American.

Erica Zacek Erica was named to the All-Mountain Valley Conference Volleyball First Team for the second consecutive year. She was also selected as the Conference Player of the Year for 2007. In 78 games she had 231 kills, 41 blocks and 169 digs. She ranked 8th in Region III for kills/game at 2.96. Miss Zacek is a sophomore Biology major who graduated from Berkshire School.

Ms. Waterman had 2 aces, 115 assists and 10kills, while Ms. Zacek 4aces, 3 assists and 36 kills. They were both selected to the All Tourney team. Sarah is a 2nd year Financial Services major who graduated from Camden HS and Erica is a 2nd year biology major who graduated from the Berkshire HS.
