Child Care Center
Kiddie Campus is a child care center licensed through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. We serve children from 3 to 5 years of age. Our goal is to provide quality care for young children so that student parents can complete degree requirements while attending Mohawk Valley Community College. We also serve children of campus faculty and staff.
Highlights
- Two classrooms with the capacity to serve 18 children.
- Classrooms are designed to provide a safe, trusting environment where children can explore, problem solve, and discover their individual way of learning.
- A creative, play based curriculum is used to enhance the learning process. We provide a safe, healthy, and emotionally stimulating environment that offers a variety of experiences for children. Large and small group activities in science, math, writing, computers, language arts, cooking, music, and fitness, give children many opportunities for self expression, friendship–making and learning.
- Frequently held special events introduce children to the many faces in our community. We provide recreational and educational opportunities as we increase children′s cultural awareness. Local firefighters, dental hygienist, librarians, musicians, and talented MVCC faculty, staff and students, often participate in our program. .
