The facilitator will present some very thought provoking questions that will inspire all of us to think about some issues that perhaps we have not considered. For example: Why is it important for MVCC faculty members and staff to consider this issue of race? What is the cultural climate like here at MVCC for faculty, staff and students? Are you “colorblind” and if so how does that affect your relationships and worldview? What is white privilege? How has the issue of race impacted your life personally and/or professionally? How does MVCC play a more pivotal role in making race relations better in this community? Please join us in what will certainly be some interesting conversation and enhance our personal growth around this issue of race relations in America.
