Workshop:What Stands Between Us? The Issue of Race in America & Our Community
Presented by: Patrick L. Johnson
Location: IT216
Time: Wednesday, January 17 9:00 am
Max number of participants: 25

This workshop will address the issue of racism in America and more importantly here in the Mohawk Valley. The purpose of this forum is to raise our awareness about the impact racism has in our lives - even when we may not be aware of it. The presenter will create an environment that will allow all participants to share their experiences, concerns and questions as it relates to racism here in our community. This workshop will afford participants an opportunity to have an honest conversation, one that is intended to provide a deeper understanding around a topic that often causes tension and conflict. In order to even begin dismantling racism, we must have a conversation. With that in mind, I invite you to join me for real talk on a really important issue.
