The DAR is a Women's Organization organized to honor their lineal ancestors who helped the United States to achieve its independence from Great Britain. Come to this workshop to learn more about the ways we support our communities, how this organization was "born," and whether or not you might qualify to become a member. Although this organization is limited to women, men are welcome to attend as well. There is also a similar organization for men which is known as the Sons of the American Revolution.
