Most people think that procrastination is either a problem of self-discipline or laziness, but in fact it is both an adaptive reaction and an executive function, and better understanding why it happens can help you find ways to overcome it and help others do the same. Learn a bit about the executive process of procrastination, and how to manage classrooms, projects, and your own habits in ways that help make it easier to overcome.
